Who we are
Atom (atom.new) is run by LiquidLabs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15907799. Our registered office is 8 Hollington Court, High Street, Chislehurst, BR7 5AJ, England.
For the data described here we are the controller. That means we decide how your data is used and we’re responsible for protecting it under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open. Our hosting provider records this in server logs, like almost every website.
- Your messages, if you email us: your address and what you write.
We don’t ask for your name, payment details or anything sensitive. An idea you type on the page is only shown back to you; it isn’t sent to us.
How we use it, and why we’re allowed to
The law only lets us use your data when we have a reason it recognises, called a legal basis. Here’s each use and its basis.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by leaving the waitlist. We only email you about the waitlist and Atom’s launch. We won’t send other marketing unless you ask for it.
Where it’s stored
Some of our providers may store data outside the UK, for example in the European Union or the United States. When they do, we make sure the transfer is protected by a UK-approved safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist email: until you get access to Atom or leave the waitlist. If we close the waitlist, we delete it within 90 days.
- Server logs: up to 30 days, unless we need them longer to look into a security problem.
- Emails you send us: up to 2 years after our last reply.
When you get access, your email moves into your Atom account, and the policy for the Atom product applies from then on.
Cookies
When you join the waitlist, we set one cookie that remembers you’ve joined, so you aren’t signed up twice. It expires after a year. We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we’ll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- Show you the data we hold about you and send you a copy.
- Correct anything that’s wrong.
- Delete your data.
- Limit how we use it, or object to a use based on legitimate interests.
- Send it to you or another company in a common format.
- Withdraw your consent, which you can also do by leaving the waitlist.
To do any of this, email [email protected]. It’s free, and we’ll reply within one month. Every waitlist email also has a link to leave the list.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d be grateful for the chance to put things right first.
Children
Atom isn’t meant for children. Please don’t join the waitlist if you’re under 18. If we learn that we’ve collected a child’s data, we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll email everyone on the waitlist before it takes effect.
